The Agriculture, Food and Horticulture Program of the Centre for Continuing & Distance Education (CCDE) coordinates various types of learning activities for adults in five identified target audiences:

  • Farmer
  • Agri-busines
  • Professional Agrologist
  • International Agriculturalist
  • Home Gardener

The learning activities are coordinated in conjunction with faculty and research scientists at the University of Saskatchewan and other research centres, and in cooperation with producer organizations across the Prairies. Our learning activities include conferences, workshops, tours, evening and weekend courses, publications, and computer disks. The Agriculture and Horticulture portions of the program also coordinate a number of certificate courses. Some certificate courses can be credited towards a diploma or degree, while other certificate courses are non-transferable to a diploma or degree.
