Earl
Misanchuk is Professor Emeritus with the Extension Division,
University of Saskatchewan, from which he retired in June
2000. Earl holds B. Ed. and M. Ed. degrees from
the University
of Alberta,
and an Ed. D. from Indiana
University.
He had been at the University of Saskatchewan since 1975.
Earl was an instructional developer of distance
education courses,
and was also involved in developing computer applications
within Extension.

His main research interests are in multimedia screen design
and human-computer interfaces. Earl currently operates
M4
Multimedia.
Now
that he has some spare time, he can usually be found in his
woodworking shop, where he has been known to create much
exquisite and expensive sawdust. Reading spy novels,
listening to Mozart, and occasionally cooking international
cuisine are other interests.
